Turn a hot summer day into a refreshing scenic float in our 16 foot drift boat and enjoy the cool thermal breezes coming off of the snow-capped mountains that surround you. Or turn that hot summer day into a exhilarating white water excursion in our 22 foot jet sled and enjoy the scenery and thrill of traveling these rivers at speeds up to 50 MPH.

Fall floats can also be very breath-taking with the changing of the seasons. Come and view spawning salmon in their natural habitat, the changing color of our fall foliage with the chance encounter of viewing black bear as they forage for food to sustain them through the winter.

In late fall and on through the winter, people from all over come to view the largest wintering population of Bald Eagles in the continental United States that call the Upper Skagit River Valley home.

A scenic float with John's Guide Service will bring you up close and personal to these magnificent raptors, which average 3 feet tall and boasting a wing span of up to seven and a half feet across, as they roost in the many cottonwoods that line our river banks.

On any of our scenic river floats you will travel in safety, comfort, and style in either our 16 foot Hyde drift boat equipped with forced air heating or a 22 foot Boulton jet sled.
Also, if you wish we can have an available shore lunch prepared for you on the banks of the river.

Once your day is booked you can either secure your trip with a deposit by mail or pay here online using a credit card with Pay Pal...Simple!
